Motherhood is one of the most important—and sometimes most overwhelming—seasons of life. Moms Group is here to help you discover Christ-centered hope, deep connection, and genuine friendship along the way. Whether you’ve just had your first baby or you’re navigating teenagers, we’ve got a place for you!
What to Expect
Join us on Tuesday mornings as we gather together for breakfast, prayer, small-group time, fun activities, and inspiring teaching. This session we will focus on what it means to truly worship our amazing God in spirit and in truth.

Childcare registration is available HERE. While you enjoy connecting with other moms, your kids will engage in play, story time, and crafts—all with the goal of showing them the love of Jesus.

Whether you're building your career, single, engaged, newly married, or just figuring out this stage of young-adult life, this group is a place to meet people who get it. Connect, grow in your faith, and find a place to do life together as we explore Scripture, have real conversations, and encourage each other along the way.
Women's Community
Tuesdays | 6:30-8pm | Sept 15-Nov 10
We weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone. Women especially flourish when we grow together, encourage one another, and sharpen one another. We'll gather together on Tuesday evenings as one large group before moving into smaller table communities for meaningful discussion, prayer, and learning.
You will be encouraged by both God's Word and gain practical tools to:
Deepen your relationship with God
Root yourself in Scripture so you can be steady in any season
Pray with and for others in a way that strengthens both you and them
Build spiritual friendships that last

Each week, we’ll dive deeper into the Scripture from Sunday’s sermon, ask questions, and encourage each other as we follow Jesus together.
Men's Group
Weekly: Thursdays, 6:30-8pm, Room 216
Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone, but for men there can be a natural habit of going at it alone. We want to change that! Through building connection with other guys, studying Scripture, having meaningful conversations, and throwing in some laughter, we can journey together toward Jesus. Join us on Thursdays from 6:30-8pm in the Room 216. It’s an open group—no registration needed, and you can join in at any time.
55+Small Group
Wednesdays, 9:30-11am, Room 216
Join us for our 55+ Wednesday morning small group for a time of building community and friendships as we study the Word of God together.
No need to register —just show up!
Hiking Group
Join us for our fall hike to Dardanelles Lake! We’ll be hiking the Big Meadow Trailhead route, an approximately 8-mile out and back hike with about 3 climbs along the way. The hike is considered moderate, around a 5/10 in difficulty.
We’ll meet at Lakeside at 6:30am SHARP on Saturday, October 3 and carpool to the trailhead. Parking is free and no trail pass is required.
Please bring plenty of water and food, along with layers, sun protection, and anything else you may need for the hike.

Slamfest is coming to HSM — and it’s going to be a night you don’t want to miss!
Wear your favorite sports jersey to HSM and come ready for a huge night. Then, after service, stick around for the Slamfest Dunk Contest as students take the court, bring the energy, and battle it out for the best dunk of the night.
Expect big dunks, loud crowds, plenty of hype, and a ton of fun. Bring your friends, rep your team, and come ready to make some noise!

Young Adults Retreat at Hume Lake
Young Adults Retreat at Hume Lake
No matter where you fall in the 18–32 age range, you'll be with people in a similar season of life. Throughout the weekend, we'll gather together as one Young Adults community while also creating space for age-based connection in our 18–24 and 25-32 groups.
If you're between the ages of 18–32, we'd love for you to join us for an incredible weekend at Hume Lake!
This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, grow in your relationship with God, build meaningful friendships, and create memories that will last long after the weekend is over. We'll spend time worshiping, having fun, sharing meals, enjoying the beauty of Hume Lake, and engaging in meaningful conversations about faith and life.
Whether you've been part of Young Adults for years or you're just getting connected, this retreat is one of the best opportunities to build deeper relationships and find community.
We don't want cost to be a barrier to attending. A minimum deposit of just $40 will reserve your spot, and we've created flexible payment plans so you don't have to pay the full amount up front. If finances are a concern, please reach out—we'd love to help make this retreat possible for you.
We'll plan to leave around 1:00 PM on Friday and return by approximately 5:00 PM on Sunday. We'll coordinate carpools as we get closer, so transportation shouldn't be a barrier to joining us.
We strongly encourage everyone in our Young Adults community to come. Weekends like this often become the moments where friendships are strengthened, faith grows deeper, and people truly find their place in community.

High School Winter Retreat

High schoolers, get ready for an unforgettable weekend in Santa Cruz! We’ll be staying at Camp Redwood Glenn for a weekend filled with games, recreation, worship, and small groups. Then, to wrap up the trip, we’ll spend Sunday at the iconic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk before heading home. Don’t miss this epic retreat—it’s going to be the highlight of your year!
Registration cost covers all meals, transportation, camp T-shirt, and lodging, with the option to pre-purchase an all-access ride wristband for the Boardwalk at a discounted price. Students are encouraged to bring spending money for the Boardwalk, merch, and snacks.

We ask all parents who'd like to dedicate their child to attend our Child Dedication Parent Orientation on September 6, held separately during the 9:45 service. (For those who cannot attend, please schedule a one-on-one meeting with our Children and Family Pastor, Jen Jarvis.) We'll get to know you, encourage and equip you as parents in this commitment you are making, and walk through logistics of this special day so that you know what to expect.
Child Dedication is a meaningful responsibility for parents. Please take a moment to review our CHILD DEDICATION OVERVIEW & COMMITMENTS to understand the commitment you are making as part of the dedication. We ask that you register your child only if you are in agreement with these commitments.

Our DivorceCare support group offers care, comfort, and practical guidance after separation or divorce. Each week focuses on a real part of divorce recovery—emotions, relationships, practical decisions, faith, and hope for what’s ahead—and provides a safe place for support and care.

Community Service Day
Folsom's Community Service Day is our city's largest day of volunteerism, and 2026 marks the 13th year of the event. The day mobilizes about 2,000 volunteers of all ages and interests to complete projects throughout Folsom that will have a lasting impact in our community.

As one of the founding partners of Community Service Day, Lakeside plays an integral role as the central launching point for hosting all 2,000 event volunteers. We have slots for about 100 volunteers to help us host! Will you join us?

Lakeside Students Midweek Kickoff
Middle & High School Students — join us for Midweek!
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to join us every Wednesday night starting August 26th. Each student is placed in a small group and spends the week in conversation, learning from the Bible and growing together. There's also worship and fun small group competitions.
Midweek begins in the Main Auditorium at 6:30pm.
Student Baptism Class
Middle School and High School students interested in baptism are invited to join us on September 9 for a Baptism Class during Midweek!
This class is for students who are ready to be baptized, as well as those who simply want to learn more about baptism and what it means to follow Jesus in this step of faith.
After the class, students will join their age-specific small group for the remainder of Midweek.

BAPTISM CLASS FOR KIDS - Wed, Sept 9 | 6–7:30pm

In this class for kids, age 8-11, we will explore baptism in Scripture and learn the meaning and significance of this important decision for followers of Jesus. At the conclusion of the class, children will meet individually with a pastor and have an opportunity to ask questions and/or share their personal decision to get baptized.
Parents do not need to attend class with children. Kids will be sent home with materials and are encouraged to continue discussions at home.

45+ Community Group
This second gathering of our 45+ Community Group (for Singles or Those Who Are Dating)is a simple, casual way to continue growing in friendship, faith, community and support. We’ll enjoy board games, good conversations, and a warm, welcoming space where we continue to build the Christ‑centered community we’re forming—one that encourages one another, creates meaningful connections, and supports each other through life’s seasons side‑by‑side.

High School Summer Camp
Join us for CIY Move this summer!
We’re heading to Biola University in Southern California for an incredible week of faith and fun! Students will have access to Biola’s top-notch athletic and recreation facilities, including tennis courts, a turf field, and lighted outdoor courts for basketball and sand volleyball. For those who love games beyond sports, there will be plenty of opportunities for group competitions, games, and late-night hangouts. Amid all the excitement, they’ll engage in unique programs featuring amazing speakers designed to deepen their faith and foster lasting friendships.
Students will depart from the Block in the morning of Monday, July 13th. The roadtrip will include a brief stop for lunch. Students will return around 4:00pm on Saturday, July 18th.

We're kicking off our 45+ Singles Community! Join us at Out of Bounds to connect with others and help shape this new group.
The heart of this event is simply spending time together—talking, laughing, and meeting one another, as we build connections and begin something new together. We’ll also take a little time to explore what this new group could become, the kinds of activities we enjoy, how often we might meet, and what would make this community feel welcoming and fun.

HSM Palladio Movie Night
High schoolers — join us for Movie Night at the Palladio!
We’ve reserved an entire theater just for HSM, and we’ll be watching the brand-new Toy Story 5 together. Space is limited, so make sure to sign up and save your spot! Bring some extra money for popcorn and snacks!
The movie starts at 6:00pm. Please arrive at 5:30pm to check in!

Middle School Summer Camp
June 28-July 4
Meadow Ranch at Hume Lake is an unforgettable week-long summer camp for middle school students (6th-8th grade), packed with high-energy adventures, exciting recreation, and suspenseful night games. From silly skits to thrilling activities, students will have a blast while growing deeper in their faith. Through Biblical teaching, Christ-centered worship, and live-action productions that bring Scripture to life, Hume Lake fosters spiritual growth in a powerful way. Don’t miss this incredible week of fun, faith, and friendship! Students will be back on the 4th around 2-3pm, with plenty of time to enjoy the holiday festivities with family and friends at home!!

Ciao, Paesano! Come join us to share stories with friends old and new for a family-style celebration of friendship and food, catered by the Olive Garden.

High School Pool Party
High Schoolers! Join us for a pool party and a backyard BBQ! All you need is a friend, swimsuit, and towel.

MSM Bike Day
Join your MSM group for a bike ride to Jamba Juice! We’ll start at The Block, ride to Jamba Juice, and end back at Lakeside. Students will need their own bicycle/helmet, water, and money for food/drink. Meet at The Block at 9am; we will leave at 9:30am.
