Because buildings are not the mission—they exist to serve the mission. Beyond is equally about expanding ministry impact, especially toward those who are often overlooked. One example is our vision for a robust special needs ministry—creating room and ministry for families who are among the most unreached, and saying clearly: You belong here.
Beyond Lakeside.
Extending the gospel beyond our church, beyond our city, and beyond what we’ve known before. This means deepening our local impact and expanding our global reach— by strengthening partnerships and saying yes to what God is doing across town and far beyond our walls.

Since Lakeside first opened its doors in 1987 with 55 people in attendance at the Eagle’s Hall in Historic Folsom to breaking ground for its current campus in 2001, the church now welcomes almost 2,000 people each Sunday, partnering with local and global ministries to make an impact for Jesus in our community and around the world.
Decisions made at every stage of Lakeside’s history have shaped the next generation, and NOW marks another pivotal moment so Lakeside can:
