Prayer Group
Whether you are passionate about prayer or timid in not knowing how to pray but want to understand it better, everybody is welcome! We'll use this hour to pray together and to pray on our own, learning something new about prayer while praying for our church and for our community. Come pray or just observe and be a silent participant. We'll meet by the fountain in front of the main church entrance and relocate to the lobby, if needed, due to weather.

Women Meeting God Small Group
Wednesdays, 6:45-8:30pm
This group meets in person with a Zoom option if you prefer online.
Women Meeting God is a small group of women of all ages, from 16 to 106, supporting and encouraging each other as we meet God and grow in our faith. Whether you are just learning about Jesus or have been intensely studying the Bible for years, we invite you to join and grow in community with us. This small group welcomes new members at any time. Most studies are light with no homework.

Contemplative Prayer Small Group
Saturdays, 8-9am
This group meets online via Zoom.
Contemplative Prayer is a silent resting in God that opens our minds and hearts to the presence and action of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We will begin each of our sessions with a brief check-in followed by a contemplative prayer session. Then we will reflect on Scripture for the upcoming sermon to be given on Sunday in the style of Lectio Divina--Read, Reflect, Respond, Rest.
There is no homework or workbook, but we recommend having your Bible and a journal on hand. No previous experience with contemplateve prayer is needed.

College Group
We meet every Saturday night a 7:00 pm for conversation, community, and connection! This group is for college-aged young adults, around 18-25.

Women’s Morning Prayer and Bible Study Small Group
Thursdays: 6-7am
This group meets online via Duo
Grow in your relationships with other women and with Jesus in our Morning Prayer and Bible Study Small Group. We enjoy sharing life and praying for each other and with each other. We take time after prayer to study God's Word.

Moms Group
Are you a soon-to-be mama, mama of young kiddos, or mama to kids of all ages?? Moms Group is a great place for you to connect with other moms! We meet at Lakeside with whatever kiddos we have in tow, drink all the coffee, and hang out together! Feel seen and known by others moms at Lakeside who are walking that crazy mama life!

This groups meets in person.
Calling all 20 and 30-somethings ... post-grads, young professionals, young married couples, pre-kids, engaged, single, divorced, etc. Join this new group and be a part of a community where we learn from each other, develop friendships, and study God's Word together.

Young Adults Bonfire Night
We hope to see you at the 2nd Annual Young Adults Bonfire Night for an evening of games, pizza, music, and friends around the fire! We'll also have the building open and set up for indoor activities. Registration is free.

Women's Worship Night
Ladies, you are invited to a night of worship! We'll sing and worship God and connect with other women. Join us in The Block, bring a friend, and come just as you are. No registration required.

Vertical Marriage
Whether you and your spouse are looking for ways to strengthen your marriage, you are in a relationship heading toward marriage, or your marriage is struggling and you’re not sure you are going to make it, join this powerful, five-week study for couples. Vertical Marriage will provide inspiration and application strategies for a healthy and thriving marriage, covering topics such as: God’s place in your marriage, conflict resolution, top relationship needs, and intimacy.

If there are any financial issues that would prevent you from being able to purchase the workbook, please let us know and we will assist you.

Red Letters of Jesus Study Group
Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm, 2/23 - 3/23
This group meets online.
In many versions of the Bible, the words of Jesus are shown in red text to stress the importance of his teachings. Today more than ever, it is important for us to go back to the teachings of Jesus, learn them, find out what they mean for us today, and apply them to our lives. Someone once said, "It makes no sense to proclaim Christ and not practice Christ." In this five-week study, we'll dive further into Christ in order to better practice Him in our lives.

Circle Up Study Group
Mondays, 6:30-8pm, 2/22 - 3/15
This group meets in person.
If you are looking to get connected and grow in your faith journey in a small group, the Circle Up four-week study is a great start! You'll learn how being connected relationally helps you grow spiritually. The study will also help you learn how to get a small group started and make sure your group experience is a great one. The goal is by the 4th week of this study, you'll have group of people that you will be able to start a small group with!

Young Professionals Small Group
Mondays, beginning Feb 22: 6:30-8pm
This group meets in person.
Calling all 20 and 30-somethings—post-grads, young professionals, young married couples, pre-kids, engaged, single, divorced, etc! Join this new group and be a part of a community where we learn from each other, develop friendships, and study God’s Word together.
Guidelines:
-Room will be set up with chairs 6 ft. apart.
-Every participant, including the leader, will be required to wear a mask while in the building. (Masks will be available for those who need one.)
-Leaders will wipe down and disinfect the room when the group is done.

“Ask, Search, Knock” Group for 4th & 5th Graders
Every other Thursday, Feb 11-April 8: 6-7pm.
This group meets online.
Supply pick-up, Tuesday, Feb 9: 3-4pm at the Lakeside roundabout.
Challenging times (like now!) can bring forth even more questions about life, God, and faith. Fourth and fifth graders are invited to our online group, which will encourage them to do as Jesus said: "Ask and it will be given to you. Search and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). We'll walk through Case For Faith for Kids, by Lee Strobel to help kids explore their faith and grow their trust in Jesus, while providing a place for fun, encouragement, and connection.
