Jacob Renfro

I started attending Lakeside after I moved to Folsom from Colorado in 2018. From the first Sunday I visited, I knew Lakeside was going to be my home. I started attending in the middle of a series called What If We’re Different? and in that series Lakeside showed a passion for loving others well that absolutely captured my heart. I just knew I had to get involved in what this church was doing. Within a few weeks, I got involved on the worship team, and within a few months I started Lakeside’s leadership development program, Protégé. Now I work full-time with middle and high schoolers as our Student Ministries Creative Arts Director.

I couldn’t be more thankful for how this community has grown and stretched me, both as a leader and personally as a follower of Jesus. Everything we do here, whether we're playing dodgeball or worshipping through music, we do in order to love others well and see them transformed into followers of Jesus.
