Feb 8–14 (Lakeside volunteers at Lakeside)
Feb 22-28 (Lakeside volunteers at Oakhills Church)
Lakeside is steadfast in our mission to demonstrate the love of Jesus, including our yearly participation in the HART Winter Shelter for the homeless, which provides three months of temporary overnight lodging, along with dinner and breakfast, for as many as twenty homeless guests at a time. Guests will be provided with a cot, sleeping bag, warm dinner, and bagged breakfast, in addition to an opportunity to shower.
Each week requires about 70 volunteers to help. Show the love of Jesus to those most vulnerable by signing up to help with one of the following opportunities.

God’s Heart for the Homeless
With its 2,000 references to caring for the poor, the Bible is definitive in God’s heart for them and in our responsibility to the vulnerable.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Matthew 25:35–36
