What Are Mission Partners and Mission Champions? (Part 2)
Lakeside works together with both local and international mission partners to help us spread the love and good news of Jesus. Our mission champions are people in our Lakeside family who have each committed to connect with one of our missions partners, stay in close contact with them, support them through prayer, and communicate with Lakeside about what is happening in their partner's work.
Hear what these Lakeside mission champions have to say and learn a little about this week's highlighted mission partners:
Proclaim Int’l , Germany: "Steve and Dawn Liberti are towers of love for the people they serve. They reach people through music, playing drums for Jesus! They radiate the love of Christ in ways and in places that are shut to more traditional approaches to the gospel. Every time I speak to them, I’m reminded that the chain of the good news of the gospel reaches from Lakeside outward to hurting people all over the globe." —John Moltzner
Singular, Chile: "We've seen evidence of how God is moving through the Alfaros' work in Chile and in neighboring countries in their five years there. We now personally know one of the amazing pastors they've trained, and he is just one of hundreds resulting from their disciple-making movement." —Tom & Laurie Williams
Trafficking Prevention Group, India: "We were blessed with the opportunity in 2018 to visit our Lakeside-sponsored village in India and to see the great work they are doing there of providing a safe haven for rescued girls and also of running a drop-in center for village children that offers them tutoring, food, and hope through the good news.” —Robyne Cortes & Carol Perez
AIM, Cambodia: "I got involved with AIM so I could assist in the fight of human trafficking in Cambodia and bring awareness to trafficking within our own community. AIM is an amazing organization that takes a holistic approach to preventing trafficking and meeting survivors’ needs, ultimately helping them develop skills for a sustainable life while coming to know their value and worth in Christ.” —Elizabeth Martin
