Missions Commitment

Each year we make a commitment to give resources to mission partners and mission activities that help spread the good news and love of Jesus. We invite you to engage in the mission by prayerfully contributing to our missions fund. We have budgeted $150,000 for missions for 2021-22.

Missions Partners: $120,000
Projects:                       10,000
Church Planting:         10,000
Short-term Trips:        10,000

TOTAL:                     $150,000

This week we are highlighting the good work of our local and regional partners.

Higher Power Recovery: "Higher Power is a Christ-centered recovery fellowship and a refuge from the storm. For either long-term or short-term recovery, it is a place where respect is given to every person and where confidentiality is highly regarded. It is a place to grow spiritually and a place to make a turning point in your life." —John Heath

Sierra Chaplaincy: "Sierra Chaplaincy has the privilege of ministering to and being a presence in the lives of first responders as well as the community. I see God's power being manifested through the lives of these men and women who serve as chaplains in our community." —Ben Pavan

Powerhouse Ministries: “I see God's grace and love and compassion clearly being poured into these women, children, and young adults in the Powerhouse programs who are fighting for their lives to break the cycle of addiction, abuse, and poverty. I have a front row seat and see forgiveness, redemption, hope, and encouragement as lives are being rebuilt with Jesus as their centerpiece.” —John Stassi

San Francisco City Impact: "City Impact provides opportunities for both adults and students to get involved and work with the people of the Tenderloin. They make a momentous impact by looking out for both the immediate and spiritual needs of the community. I've been moved to tears as I've seen the excitement on the faces of the residents as they've been given food or prayed over." —Kevin Knutson
