Children and teens with special needs (ages 4-14) and their siblings (ages 4–14) are invited for a night of fun and connection.  With loving support and focused attention from volunteers and staff, kids will enjoy an evening filled with games, art projects, and sensory activities. Parents, enjoy a night to yourselves! We also need volunteers for this event!

Fifth graders are invited to come check out our Sunday MSM gathering and see what MSM is all about before promoting on May 26! Check in to Lakeside Kids as usual, and then we’ll head to MSM together. 5th graders are also invited to stay for the 2nd Sunday @ MSM event, where we keep the party going after the gathering—free food, friends, and fun and games!

One of the most memorable nights of the year is almost here! Come dance the night away with your daughter, granddaughter, or special little girl in your life! A live DJ will keep the dance floor hopping all night, and we'll also enjoy snacks and sweet treats, crafts and some friendly dance floor competitions! Please invite your friends! We can't wait to see you there!

This dance is in the Main Auditorium at Lakeside Church. Our dance floor opens promptly at 6:30! Photo booth in the Main Lobby will be open at 6pm.

This event is geared for girls 4 years old through 8th grade.

In this class for kids, age 8-11, we will explore baptism in Scripture and learn the meaning and the significance of this important decision for followers of Jesus. At the conclusion of the class, children will meet individually with a pastor and have an opportunity to ask questions and/or share their personal decision to get baptized.

Parents do not need to attend class with children. Kids will be sent home with materials and are encouraged to continue discussions at home!

Don’t miss our annual Lakeside Kids Christmas Sing-Along! Children, wear your favorite, festive holiday outfit or Christmas Blitz T-shirt! Come ready to sing out loud! Parents, this is a Lakeside favorite, so please arrive early to check in your children and grab some great seats. The celebration continues after the celebration with hot cocoa, treats, and family photo area.

Christmas Blitz is a one-night, high-energy, high-fun Christmas celebration for kids! This year children will buckle up and go on a “Christmas Road Trip” adventure as we explore the journey to Bethlehem in Scripture. Kids will hear that Christmas is all about Jesus who, because of his love for us, came to be with us. Throughout the night, kids will sing and dance to energetic music, get creative in a holiday workshop, enjoy dinner and snacks, play festive games, and be reminded through everything that Jesus is our reason to sing and celebrate at Christmas!

Our Lakeside Baby Dedications provide parents with the opportunity to publicly commit, in the presence of the church family, to raising their children to know Jesus. Babies, ages 0-23 months, are welcomed up on stage for introduction and a personalized prayer with Pastor Brian. This is a special and memorable time for both families and the church, as we treasure babies as a precious gift from God.

We ask all parents who are dedicating children to connect with Pastor Jen on Sunday, November 19 at 10:45am in Kids Room 4. Need another date/time to connect with pastor? Let us know.

4|5 Kids for 4th and 5th graders is designed around building community and encouraging kids in living out their faith, while of course having LOTS of fun! Every month kids will enjoy time with peers, eat plenty of snacks, and participate in a unique event!

Calling all young families! There’s nothing better than connecting and building community around a good meal. Come out for Friendsgiving and enjoy some great food, time with friends, and an opportunity to be thankful for all that God has done. 

We’ll enjoy a good, old-fashioned potluck meal for Friendsgiving with the whole family and then kids will be able to go and enjoy their own activities while parents enjoy some time together.

If you haven't volunteered with Lakeside Kids in the past and want to volunteer at Summer Blitz (or any of our Kids classrooms in the near future), this is FOR YOU! We require our all of our Lakeside Kids adult volunteers to be live scanned.

To make this as easy as possible for you, we are bringing Live Scan to Lakeside. We invite you to get your live scan done, as this is a one time process, and live scanning will make it easier for you to be a part of all that your kids are doing here at Lakeside.

Our final 4th & 5th Grade Group event of the year is here! Our Backyard Bash will be an afternoon of music, games, activities, and grillin’ up hot dogs and burgers, and (hopefully) enjoying some sunshine together.

• For all parents, you are invited to join the celebration from 5-5:30pm, upstairs at The Block. We’ll be showing a recap video, sharing some highlights, and celebrating our 5th graders!

This Sunday our 1st-5th graders will join together for part of our time together for live worship music! We are blessed to have a parent volunteer leading our children in this worship experience for kids. Check in and pick up your children from their regular classroom.

4th and 5th graders! Our next Friday event is coming up! It's cozy, it's comfy, it's a little crazy ... it's a 4th and 5th Grade Group Pajama Party!

Wear your favorite PJs and join us at Lakeside for an afternoon of FOOD, FUN, and FRIENDS in pajamas! We'll be playing games, watching a movie, eating a lot of popcorn, and singing some karaoke! Invite your friends to register to join with us!

Adults and Youth, we invite you to serve with us as a volunteer! Once a month, Lakeside’s 4th– 5th Grade Group hosts an after-school event designed around building friendships and having some Friday fun together! It’s a time of food, fun, and friends!

Sign up your 4th or 5th grader for our January event: Winter Games!  Kids will bring their competitive spirit as they form teams and then design, build, and decorate a bobsled, before racing the clock on a crazy indoor bobsled track.

As of Tuesday December 13, our Christmas Blitz event is full. We have over 400 kids joining us to celebrate God’s gift of Jesus to the world!

Our Lakeside Kids 4th and 5th Grade Group events are all designed around cultivating friendships and having some Friday fun together! We encourage kids to bring their friends and neighbors to join in with us on this afternoon filled with FOOD, FUN, FRIENDS.... and of course, PUMPKINS!

 Our Family Fun Night is designed for families with kids of all ages. We’ll get to know each other through lots of silly games and plenty of winners! Play brings joy and connection—something that every heart needs.

Whether you’ve been at Lakeside for twenty years or are brand new, we invite you to come join us for this night of FUN and CONNECTION!  If you want to participate but no longer have young kids, come join the fun as a volunteer!

We’ll also have a yummy BBQ dinner and, of course, dessert! One meal ticket is good for either a hamburger or a hot dog, and a bag of chips, side and a drink.  Meal tickets are $5 each. (Volunteer meals are free.

Once a month, Lakeside’s 4th-5th Grade Group hosts an after-school event designed to help cultivate relationships with peers, centered around FOOD, FUN, and FRIENDS!

It starts September 16 with a Kickball Kickoff! Wear comfy clothes, sunscreen, and bring a friend to take part in some epic games with, of course, plenty of snacks, prizes, and fun! Registration is $5 per child.

We have an exciting weekend coming up on August 14! We’ll be celebrating the start of a new ministry season with some fun treats! And we have some classroom changes that we want to make you aware of:

KIDS ROOM 3: Older 2–3-year-olds (kids move to this room when potty training and ready to sit for a short story)
