Lakeside Church is a community of people participating in God’s story. We’d love to have you with us in this faith-filled community! Before diving in, most people want to know what exactly they’re diving in to. Well, we agree! Lakeside 101 introduces you to our church and explains who we are and where we’re going. Join us to learn of the history and ministry of Lakeside Church and to understand what the Bible says about following Jesus.

Sharing Your Faith Story: How to Write and Tell it

Do you feel compassion toward people who don’t know Jesus, but get tongue tied as to how to share Him with others? Through the Scriptures, God promises to teach us what to say to our not-yet-believing friends and acquaintances. Come to this workshop where we will take you through simple steps of jotting down your own faith story, so that when God opens a door for you to share, you are ready!

Contemplative Prayer: Experiencing God’s Presence

We will look into this form of communication with our Creator and contrast it with other forms of meditation. Learn another way to engage and go deeper in our relationship with our triune God.
