Doug was born in Sacramento, CA. Raised in a Christian family, he commited his life to Christ on Easter 1997.
A graduate of Granite Bay High School, Doug earned an athletic scholarship to play football at Fresno State University. After two and half years at FSU, an injury put him on medical scholarship. He gave up his scholarship and finished up schooling at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. Doug graduated in Spring 2006 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Biblical Studies. It was at Biola, where Doug felt God calling him to go into youth ministry full time. After moving back to northern California, Doug met Michelle and they married on March 24, 2007.
Doug loves to spend time with his wife and go hiking, camping, swimming and pretty much anything outside. Doug's desire is to live and model God's grace and truth in front of students who he hopes will follow after Jesus and become real and authentic with themselves and others.
