Lakeside on Mission has a goal of mobilizing every Lakesider to active mission involvement. Active mission involvement looks like a follower of Jesus choosing to PRAY, Send, Give, Go or Tell regarding the mission to “make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19).” Every week as you arrive at this page, there will be new encouragement and direction for you to PRAY for the mission.

This Week • May 15 – May 21

This week we lift up to our Mighty God our fellow servants at Metro Ministries in Brooklyn, NY.

Prayer:

Almighty God, we praise You for among the gods there is none like You, O’ LORD, nor are there any works like Your works. God, we look expectantly to the day when all nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O’ LORD, and they shall glorify Your Name for You, O’ God, do great and wondrous things. God, we lift up to You those who lead Metro Ministries in NY and all those who co-labor with them. God, we pray that the leaders would submit to Your Spirit’s guidance when confronted with decisions. We ask they they would remain humble before You, LORD, and those they serve, giving glory and honor to You through Your Son Jesus Christ. Praise to You, LORD CHRIST God, that they would shepherd Your beloved people over whom You have given them oversight. That they would diligently guard and care for the flock You have given them. We pray for the lost Almighty God that You would incline their ears to hear the Gospel of Truth and open their hearts to receive Christ Jesus as their Savior and King that He may heal them. We aks the seeds that are planted by the hearing of Your Word would be planted on good ground and yield a great crop. We pray that those who are saved would repent, be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. God, we commit these Your servants to Your care and all who co-labor with them and ask that You, O LORD, would be a shield for them, their glory, and the One who lifts up their heads. We love You, LORD JESUS. We pray all these things Almighty God in the Name of Your Precious Son, Jesus Christ our King. AMEN!
