For Parents

Parent Newsletter

There is no doubt that you have dreams, hopes and priorities for your kids. You are investing eighteen plus years in their “every days” and frankly, you don’t want to leave their “growing up” to chance. Maybe you’ve heard the phrase “start with the end in mind” as it applies to goal setting. But what if you started with the end in mind for your kids? This is not to pressure a child into being a star athlete or a music virtuoso. Rather its a more general goal than being exposed to musicianship or staying active. Of all the priorities that you have for your kids, none of them really matters in the long run unless they are built on faith.

Our kids need a plumbline in this world to help them navigate all the choices, good and bad, they will face. That’s what Kidsfest is all about. We come alongside of you as a parent; valuing and loving your child irresistably and consistently standing on the word of God as you do at home – teaching the Bible with a child-friendly and applicable approach. The end in mind is a passionate and productive follower of Christ who when faced with a decision can make a good one and when there’s a slip up, knows how to respond with the character of Jesus.

May God bless you with courage and faith as you continue in your greatest work.
