High Five -  faith friends & fun

High Five will have events throughout the school year that are geared toward serving our community, reaching out to fellow fifth-graders, and participating in and hearing God’s Word.  We want fifth-graders to not only have an awesome experience, but to be living out their faith in tangible ways.  All events will last between 3 – 4 hours.

Our events for this year are:

  • January 22nd – Serving around Lakeside and French-Fry Scavenger Hunt (Cost $5)
  • April 16th – G.R.E.A.T.* BBQ Kick-Off Night (Free)
  • May 21st – G.R.E.A.T.* Sleepover (Free)

*(G.R.E.A.T. is Getting Ready To Experience Adolescence Together, more information on that is to come)
Our goal for High Five is to reach out and invite non-Lakeside fifth grade friend(s) to be a part of this fun program. If your fifth grader brings a friend(s) to any event, the friend will be free!

We also need parents to help us by participating in these events. We are looking for parents to help with both pre-event planning and during the event.  If you would like more information, or are interested in helping in either aspect, it would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me at (916) 985-3245 x 128 or email me: Jon Ingraham.

So mark your calendars and we look forward to seeing you!
