Babies and Toddlers

Park Place – We want to provide a warm and inviting place for our little ones where they will feel loved and valued by caring volunteers and God. The health and safety of your child is our primary concern. We are committed to providing a clean and sanitary environment with “wellness” policies. Our child to adult ratios ensures your child will be loved and cared for as they have their personal needs met. We desire for them to feel secure in a trustworthy environment.

2 (and early 3) Year Olds

Jungle Junction is the first big boy and big girl experience with learning God’s truth in a fun and tangible way that is designed especially for them. This environment lays a foundation through “jungle safari” learning of God’s Word which will hopefully leave a lasting impression. The children will enjoy music and wiggle worship as well as crafts, games and hands on activities all to reinforce the love of Jesus. It is our hope that your child will be excited about coming to church and will experience the love of God through the caring arms of committed volunteers.

3 (and early 4) Year Olds

Cowpoke Crossing – YeeHaw! Calling all 3 (and some 4) year old cowpokes to come and enjoy a western themed experience where learning about God’s word is almost as fun as ridin’ a buckin’ bronco. As one of the first frontiers of a child’s spiritual life, we realize that children learn best when they use all of their senses. Each week children will discover the Bible lesson through hands on, “get a little bit messy” activities. They will hear about the great Biblical “Cowboys” who were willing to follow God and get a little dirty with their boots off. Through worship, puppetry, drama and rotating discovery centers. Kids will experience the excitement of the Greatest Story Ever Told through the passion conveyed by dedicated leaders and teachers.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarteners

Big Top Blvd. – What is more fun than the anticipation of the circus coming to town? These children (Pre-K and K) will enjoy learning about the “Greatest Story on Earth” in an environment that reflects the “Greatest Show on Earth.” This is a dynamic age for children where their imaginations are peaked and when they are eager to experience life in many different ways. Big Top Blvd. provides a multi-sensory experience for kids with fun and fresh ways to teach children foundation, biblical truths using a circus motif. At all the gathering hours, children learn the richness of the Scriptures in both a large group and small group setting lead by fun and sold out leaders.

“J-Street” 1st – 3rd graders

Welcome to J Street Otto Shop where elementary aged children enter an eye-popping authentic-looking auto shop environment to hear the message of the Gospel. Kids will engage in upbeat Shout It Out Nickelodeon-style games and learn to apply Bible truths through interactive activities including Bible teaching, drama, worship, and small group interaction. Children’s lives are positively impacted through a positive small group experience. Building relationships with the same age group of peers and being a part of small group discussions and activities that are facilitated by adults who love God and love kids makes for one powerful experience. These relationships are the heart of the J Street ministry.

4th – 5th graders

4th & 5th graders dig into the Bible to find answers to the tough questions they are asking about faith, relationships, and the choices they make. For more information check out “the groove” page.

Families with Special Needs

Sidekick Alley – At Lakeside Church, we love children, period! For families that have children who would benefit from the love and nurturing of a one on one adult, we invite you to check out Sidekick Alley. Specially trained loving volunteers become pals who accompany children with special needs to age appropriate Kidsfest classes in order to make sure each individual child’s needs are met. Additionally, we offer Kids Klub which offers respite care the first Friday evening of the month for children with special needs and their siblings.

Kidsfest Ministry to Families during weekday mornings & evenings

Little Steps – During the week days, many Bible studies occur on the Lakeside campus. Just as important, is the opportunity for parents to come to the church to serve. We offer a child care ministry lead by an awesome staff that come along side parents during select weekday mornings. Class ratios are set and reservations are taken online at lakesidechurch.com. These caring teachers use a systematic approach to curriculum featuring, indoor and outdoor activities, Bible stories, music, games and crafts.
