Lakeside is dedicated to practical Christianity where the Bible is the main script of life and ministry. We believe that it is in and through the church where the pain of the world and the love of God come together for healing. Lakeside chaplaincy is fundamental in meeting the pain of the world through the incarnational love enacted by and through followers of Christ. Our chaplaincy team is an intricate part of Inreach ministries and a core belief in the mission of Inreach ministries is to reach out to the body through our love and service towards one another.

Chaplains are ministers called to serve God’s people and it is through grace and mercy that chaplains respond with love and compassion to the needs of Lakesiders. When facing a serious illness, surgery, hospitalization, accident or other crisis, Lakeside chaplains can assist through visits, prayer, and much more. To this end, it is our hope that the Lakeside Chaplaincy team will be active in every area of ministry imaginable.

Basic church chaplaincy training is also available for those who feel God’s call to be a part of the chaplaincy team. We encourage you to prayerfully consider chaplaincy, and if the Holy Spirit is touching your heart to reach out and make a difference in the lives of Lakesiders, then now might be the time to consider joining the Lakeside Chaplaincy team.
