Women of Faith

Imagine what it would be like if the God who created us was willing and able to provide exactly what we need. Why would He do that? Because He loves us. He loves YOU. Imagine that. Imagine having two days focused on God and His love for you. Join us for two days filled with laughter, music, and stories that make you chuckle even as you wipe away a knowing tear.

Women of Faith is coming to Arco Arena on November 12 & 13, 2010. The cost is $89 for Friday & Saturday. That includes all three sessions and a box lunch both days.
Friday: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm & 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

The speakers this year are: Lisa Harper, Karen James, Luci Swindoll, Kim Cash Tate, and Sheila Walsh. In addition to the Women of Faith Worship Team, musical entertainers will be Natalie Grant and Mary Mary. For more information, http://womenoffaith.com/

Do you like Aerobics? – Body & Soul

Body & Soul is a one hour class with cardio & strength training to Contemporary Christian music. You exercise at your own pace, high or low impact cardio. Strength training is with resistance bands and hand held weights. Routines are choreographed by and A.C.E. Certified instruction and are reflective of the lasts trends in the fitness industry. We meet Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6 – 7 am in The Café @ the Block. Contact Lisa Robertson: bodynsoul@lakesidechurch.com with any questions. Stepping Stones

A women’s group that meets Tuesdays in the morning and evening. We start with about an hour of teaching, then break into small groups to discuss the topic and personal application. Our goal is to learn how to be more like Christ and how to apply wisdom from Scripture to our everyday lives. Within the large group, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from one of our gifted teachers and they teach from the Bible. The small groups offer a chance to ask questions and have open discussion, as well as a place to develop lasting friendships with other women who are seeking God. Our Fall session will begin on September 7. The topic will be “One Month to Live”. For more information contact steppingstones@lakesidechurch.com

Women’s Christmas Celebration

Begin the holiday season with our Women’s Christmas Celebration. Enjoy an encouraging message, music and a delicious meal. Take in the spectacular sights of decorated holiday tables. Each table is decorated uniquely for the Christmas Season by volunteer table hostesses, creating an inviting & personal atmosphere for your special guests and friends. It’s all wrapped up in the one wonderful event for you. We have the same program content at each event. Our speaker this year is Jan Coleman. She will be speaking on “There’s Something About Merry”. You can check out her website at jancoleman.com We offer three different times to come: Thursday & Friday, December 2nd & 3rd, from 7:00 – 9:30 pm and Saturday, December 4th from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm. The doors open ½ hour before the event so you can enjoy all the beautifully decorated tables.

Women’s Retreat

Set aside a weekend to grow deeper in your walk with the Lord, rejuvenate you soul and fellowship with your sisters in Christ. Mark your calendars now for April 1 – 3, 2011.
